"Use what talents you possess; the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best" - Henry van Dyk
We live in close proximity to two autobahns, yet every morning I am amazed that the sounds of nature, particularly the birdsong block out the drone of cars. These are the birdsongs and frog chirps in the early morning. There are so many different calls, it is amazing to hear.
Some of these calls are not as nice as others, but it is totally true that if only those with the most beautiful songs sang, then the woods would be silent. The combination of all the calls is what makes the early mornings complete. It is important to recognise that each and every one of us has been blessed with unique talents, and that in combination these can be used for the betterment of the world we live in. We need to recognise our talents and apply them each day, to bring joy to ourselves and those around us.
