"When I admire the wonders of a sunset or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in the worship of the creator" - Mahatma Gandhi
Project 365: #24
Perfect evening for sundowners with the moonrise over the lake!
I know that the scene is always the same, but it never stops being beautiful, and always reminds me of the beauty in creation. Every small detail is amazing, from the tiny flowers that pop up in the grass, to the new leaves shooting on the trees and the beautiful little birds flitting around looking for food or nest material. Even the hedgehog that stumbled sleepily around, probably starving after sleeping all winter, scuffling in the leaves. Everything is so perfect and has a well-programmed place in the ecosystem. I feel so tiny in the big scheme of things, and am constantly amazed!
