"Success is not a destination, but the road that you're on. Being successful means that you're working hard and walking your walk every day. You can only live your dream by working hard towards it. That's living your dream" - Marlon Wayans
This is the girls walk to school - a long and straight pavement, demarcated for pedestrians and cyclists. DO NOT CROSS THE LINE or else you will be squashed by a bicycle!
There are beautiful buildings to look at too, like this police department.
This long road that they walk every day to and from the tram stop, is pretty much setting them up for success. I have tried to drill into them, that success is what you make of your life, and not something that instantly happens. It is the working hard every day, getting up on time, making your bed, being prepared, doing what you have to, going where you want to go...setting goals, dreaming big. And little by little your determination takes you in the direction of success and you start living your dream. I am pleased the girls have had to do this walk, it has made them a little more determined than they were before.
