"For me, an aerial picture is no
different than a close-up portrait. It's a question of framing and
angle" - Yann Arthus-Betrand
Project 365: #58
It was such a beautiful day yesterday, that I decided to take the opportunity while I was walking around to go to the top of the Rathaus tower to see Hannover from above, giving me a beautiful perspective of a portrait of the city:
View of the Maschsee and Südstadt |
Altstadt towards Marktkirche |
Towards the glass building |
The city |
Dome of the new Rathaus (townhall) |
Where the photos were taken from - the very top of the tower above the dome! The view gives you a glimpse into history, and an awe of architecture and beauty. This building is beautiful in itself, while also allowing a glimpse of the beautiful city.
