Day 131: Town offices

Well, like a good conscientious citizen that I am (with a small town mentality), I have been following all the rules and regulations of Mendham Borough (I have decided to do everything by the book), and ticking all the things off my list that I have to complete. It is awesome to tick the list systematically as things are organised. There does seem a lot of organising to do, but we are getting there. As this is the land of opportunity, in addition to the possibility of using the garbage collection company that the town suggests, you could use any one of a number from the competition, and you can also negotiate a good rate.  One of the regulations is that you have to license your pets within two weeks. So, I sent an email enquiry to town office, and was given the details with the address...and this is it! So, the kitties are officially licensed at $15 each, and can legally stay here. Wish it was as easy for us!
