Day 9: New perspective

While on one of my neighbourhood walks, I decided to take a short-cut through the cemetry that borders the other side of the lake....that's right, the cemetry that borders the other side of the lake. AND, this is what our house looks like from a new perspective: like something out of the Blair Witch Project maybe (good analogy from my neighbour)

I do like the cemetery, it is quietly beautiful and serene, but otherworldly at the same time. It is important to visit occasionally as it is a good reminder of the finality of this life, and to make the most of each and every day. Well, anyway, the trees will soon be all leafed-up, and this perspective will disappear for a while in the euphoria and endlessness of summer.
