"I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination" - Jimmy Dean
Project 365: #19
Slowly, more and more things are heralding new beginnings, with all the organisation that entails. There is more and more finalisation, and more and more anxiety about all the "what ifs"... the count down is now on, with the first of many (of that, I am sure!) meetings at school to organise as much as possible to keep the IB going. It didn't help that it is a dreary day, adding to the dreary feelings!
On the upside, school and the teachers are absolutely awesome, and prepared to help make the transition as smooth as possible. Has a 'Mr Chips" feel...quite the opposite to how I felt on arriving here! What an awesome experience at the International School, exposed to so many global opinions and cultures. I am truly grateful for all this has entailed, the good and the bad. We are certainly all learning how to adjust our sails as the winds blow in new directions!
