Day 88: Sunday Farmer's Market at Chester, NJ

"Look at our farmers' markets today, bursting with heritage breeds and heirloom varieties, foods that were once abundant when we were an agricultural nation, but that we have lost touch with. Bringing all these back helps us connect to our roots, our communities and helps us feed America the proper way" - Jose Andres Puerta

Project 365: #88

This was our adventure yesterday - the local Farmer's Market that runs every Sunday through summer. It was a chilled atmosphere with live music playing and loads of delicious looking eats and fresh produce. We enjoyed the local produce, and bought home nice fresh veggies for supper. This is the perfect entertainment for a hot, lazy Sunday afternoon. The raspberry lemonade was perfect, zingy and refreshing, not to mention the most deeevine chicken! This will definitely be a regular outing for us, and a perfect way to integrate and connect with the community.

Beautiful day-lilies are flowering everywhere.

The local shops were open, perfect for a gentle stroll down the street, enjoying what the town has to offer.
