On my run in the mist this morning, this was my view - sheep in the field. What is so amazing about this I hear you ask. Well, this was on Main Street, Mendham, directly next to the school. Yup, we pretty much live in rural NJ! Close to the natural world, with deer wandering through the garden, squirrels playing in the trees, large birds of prey forever circling overhead. There is something to be said for small-town life, a simplicity and pleasure. The open space is exhilarating, it makes you feel grateful to be alive.
